What helps us quote it
You don't need all of this. Whatever you have saves a phone call later.
- The job address, or the lot number and nearest cross streets
- What you're pouring: a slab, footers, a driveway, a sidewalk, something else
- The size, as length, width and thickness, or the yards if you've worked them out
- The day you're hoping to pour
- Where the truck can park and how close it can get to the forms
- For contractors, the company name and who'll be on site
Working out the yards
Concrete is measured in cubic yards. Multiply the length by the width in feet, multiply that by the thickness in inches, then divide by 324. A 10 by 10 foot slab at 4 inches thick comes to about 1.2 yards.
Close is fine. The truck mixes at the job, so if your number is a little off, it can keep going or stop early.
Getting the site ready for the truck
A loaded mixer is a heavy truck. Tell us about soft ground, low wires, a narrow gate or anything else between the street and the forms. And have the forms built and checked before pour day.
After you send it
We'll call you back at the number you gave. Sending the form doesn't commit you to anything, and nothing goes on the schedule until you've said yes. If it can't wait, call (321) 751-6666.
Questions people ask
Do I need to know the exact yards?
No. Length, width and thickness are enough to start. Send what you have and we'll work out the yards with you on the phone.
What if I order too little or too much?
The concrete is mixed at the job, so the amount isn't locked in before the truck leaves the yard. If the forms take more than you figured, the truck keeps mixing, as long as it has material on board. If they take less, it stops.
